Terms of Service
Last updated: August 26, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Amaranto when you use amaranto.app, my.amaranto.app, or the Amaranto app for iOS and Android. Using the service means you accept them. We wrote them to be readable. If anything is unclear, ask us: [email protected].
What Amaranto is
Amaranto generates deep, personalized audio sessions. You share your goals, fears, and mental blockers. We generate guided visualization sessions written specifically for you, and adjust them week by week based on your feedback.
Amaranto is a training tool for the mind, the way a gym is a training tool for the body. It is not a medical or therapeutic product. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure anything, and it is not a substitute for professional care. If you are dealing with a mental health condition, work with a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country.
Who can use it
You must be 16 or older. You must give us accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You can sign in with Google or, in the mobile app, with Apple.
Free and paid access
Amaranto has a free tier and a paid membership.
- Free. Create an account, complete the onboarding, and use Spaces, our library of sound environments for focus, rest, and sleep. No payment required, no time limit.
- Paid membership. One personalized session per week, your daily reinforcement audio, and the full method.
Subscriptions and billing
Membership is an auto-renewing subscription:
- Monthly: one month of access, renewing every month. $20 per month on the web.
- Annual: one year of access, renewing every year. $168 per year on the web, equal to $14 per month.
In the iOS and Android apps the store sets and shows the price in your local currency. Wherever you buy, the purchase screen you see before paying is always the authoritative price.
Where you subscribe determines who bills you.
- In the iOS or Android app, payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- On the web, payment runs through Stripe, and you can cancel any time from your account settings.
Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. If we change prices, we tell you by email before your next renewal, and the new price applies only after that notice.
Refunds
On the web there is a 3-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. Within 72 hours of that first payment you can request the refund yourself from your account settings, in one step, telling us in a line what did not work for you. We refund the full amount and end the subscription. The guarantee covers the first payment only, once per account. After those 72 hours, or on a renewal, write to us and we review it case by case.
Purchases made in the iOS or Android app are refunded by Apple or Google, not by us. We cannot issue, approve, or reverse those charges. You can request a refund from your Apple Account (Report a Problem) or from your Google Play order history, and the app links you to the right place. Write to us at [email protected] and we will help you file it and support your request, but the decision is the store's.
We honor every refund the law requires, wherever you bought.
Your content and your sessions
What you tell Amaranto stays yours. You give us permission to process it for one purpose: generating and improving your sessions, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The sessions we generate for you are for your personal use. Listen as much as you want, keep them, use them offline. You may not resell them, redistribute them, or use them to build a competing service.
Amaranto and everything that powers it, including the software, the brand, and the session methodology, belong to us.
Safe listening
Sessions guide you into deep relaxation with closed eyes. Listen only when you can do that safely: sitting or lying down, in a place where you do not need to react to anything. Never listen while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or doing anything that needs your attention.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service. That includes attempting to access other users' data, scraping, reverse engineering, overloading our systems, sharing one account among several people, or using the service for anything illegal. We can suspend or close accounts that do.
Results
We build Amaranto on documented research about visualization, repetition, and mental rehearsal, and we work hard on quality. But minds are not machines, and results vary from person to person. We do not guarantee any specific outcome.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Amaranto at any time, and you can delete your account from the app (You, then Delete my account) or on the web, which erases your profile, your answers, and your audios. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, cancel there as well: deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature survive termination, such as liability limits and your content rights, survive.
Apple and Google
Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for Amaranto or its content. They have no obligation to provide support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty and you bought it on iOS, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price if applicable; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we announce it on the site and by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, US.
